Thanks, thats what i thought, i just wanted to make sure. I measured and an fbody oil pan should fit with no mods, and are avalible fairly cheap.

I'm so glad the new pans are available now. We used to mod truck pans all the time. It's dirty, and a general pain in the a$$.

HotRod1, the pans we use mostly are the Holley swap pans for Chevelles and Camaros.
DJ, the JT has been doing shop runs, and landscape duty. On the plus side, we have been donig extensive shock testing and tuning. Next year we should have our own line of custom valved C10 shocks.

Would it be possible to get a dimension from JT per pic below.
i am running a 15" wide tire with a narrowed rear end and am looking to determine if your rear stabilizer will fit?

Just finished installing mine....

'67 C10 Long Fleetside
'71-'72 C10 five lug rear with OE drums
15x10x4.25bs Wheel Vintiques
BFG 295/50-15
No Limit adjustable panhard rod and shock relocate kit.
5" drop springs in rear with some blocks to come later.

The most useful measurement would probably be the overall, which is 45-3/4" including the fastners, although the bend in the bar makes it a little wider in that spot. Mine is more like 46-1/8" wide about 13" from the axle centerline. I'm not sure what the manufacturing tolerances are for that bar, but I bet It'd be +/- 1/8" or better for overall width???

Sorry I was late on the sway bar info, thanks for helping out.

We finished second in the pro class, I never could catch the RideTech 33, - I think I may not help them so much in the future. lol - Then we got the pick for the Snap-On "Innovation" award. The points we got put us in the top spot for Pro-Truck, and fourth overall in the Pro class. With this weekend's fund raising, our total for he Wounded Warrior Project is over $23,000.00 !!! A nice way to end the year. It was great to see everyone out there and in Scottsdale.

Nice to here your success, watching you on the GG course was awesome......

I measured my clearance and unfortunately I only have 3.25" between the frame rail and the inside tire wall.

Man that's close! There's probably something out there that'd fit just right but I bet you might be able to "over-bend" Rob's bar and make it work. I'm not real hip on how they'd make that bar but I bet the science is in the round-bar the spring company is getting. Once they get it or treat it, I bet they simply cut it to length and bend/form/machine it to application. If you could over bend the 90* at the frame rail then "kick" the last straight section back out to the link I think it'd fit.

Rob,
You might consider tightening up the frame/spring clearances to open up the range of wheel/tire/shock/whatever combos.

Hey Rob on that red truck y'all built is it the one you chopped 4 inches out of the front of the bed and 2 out of the back cause im going to convert a lwb into a swb and I was really liking the idea of a shorty truck

Rob, if you could use any spindle as a starting point from scratch, what would you use and why. I am not just limiting to aftermarket such as cpp etc. I am talking any, wilwood pro spindle, scp, howe, coleman spindles or even a specific oem spindle? Im getting ready to build a 68 chevy swb and I want to optimize from the begining, I am not afraid of reworking a spindle either. I saw your rework on your 72? a arms to get 9* caster, cool way to go. I am looking at it all, ball joint heights, kpi, and how they impact issues like roll center, roll center movement, etc. thanks for your thoughts.

With help from a buddy who can lay down some quality welds we accomplished the secret mod on my lower control arms over the weekend (70 C10 LWB) and my goodness what an improvement! It holds the road as good as our newer cars. And it does work on 15" rims with stock spindles and stock steel rallies, and stock ride height. Took your recommended specs to the alignment shop and they got me pretty close. Could have driven it home with one finger if I had wanted to.

Truly one of the coolest things I've done to the truck and relatively simple and it feels much safer to drive at highway speeds. I only attempted this with the help of a friend who can weld good enough so I know me and my family are safe riding around on those welds. I can't wait for the weather to improve to get it out on the road a lot more.
