68 C20 shifter cable

Howdy everyone.
New to the forum and just picked up a 1968 c20 thats been sitting some time. I've been excitedly getting new parts and cleaning her up but there is one thing i cant seem to find. The truck is a V8 with a th400 trans with a colum shift. The shift cable between the column and the trans is broken. Where the heck do i get a new one of these? Thanks and i look forward to being a part of the forum.

Any chance you can post some pictures? The '68 c20 didn't use a cable from the column to the trans. they used a solid rod.

Yup, not stock.... There must be a big spring on the other end to pull it back the other way. Wow!
