New Lift
got my new lift. Heres some pics of setting it up. Still need to run the air lines around it but I got the cables and hydraulic part done today.
Unboxing part 1.  Dead battery on forklift... Just got the last box far enough in the air the truck could drive out from underneath..  Posts and crossmembers in place. This stuff could all be moved by hand pretty easy. The forklift helped sliding the crossmembers into the posts though. Would have been hard with a ladder and my cherry picker wouldnt go that high.  All the heavy parts attached and ready for cables. The main ramps are pretty dang heavy. Took 3 of us to get them in place.  the electrian put in my new breaker and made me a nice thick extension cord, so hopefully Ill have a car in the air tomorrow after running some air lines and tightening up the cables. |

its an HD9-XW. Supposedly I can get a dually long bed on it and under it.
im heading to get going on the air lines now.

finally got it all setup and leveled yesterday. It takes a lot of walking around and up and down to get all the safety ladders and cables at the right settings. At first it wasnt catching the top lock on one corner so when I lowered it with the truck it did a nice tip and lean to that side...
now shes solid as a rock. I setup a filter/oiler and additional air line to run the bridge jack or air tools and attached it to a leg and then ran the power cord and air line up and over the shop so I can still move the lift without unplugging but dont have to walk over cords.

Very cool! Your photos of assembly brought back familiar memories. I used my shop crane and ratchet straps to assemble mine by myself, too.
