what transfer case is in my truck/

like it says can you identify my transfer case?

See the little 3 bolt cover? That identifies it as a NP205. Good case, worth keeping for sure.

thanks that helps. ya i plan on keeping it. nothing wrong with it except a little leaky.

another question on the topic...where the speedo cable connects to the t case the is a square box deal and it spins around and lets the speedo cable lay on the exhaust and it melted into. any way to keep it from spinning? ive tried tightening it but its tight already

Easyiest way for me to tell is that np205s have a drain & fill plug and that np203s have only fill plug!
