Went to Body shop today and they are getting ready to put body on!! I decided to go with the Hugger Orange and white top!!! Can't wait to get back and get started on final phase!!

I am going from blue to OCHRE... think they look the best in a classic 70"s color and think Ochre in matt finish and not shinny is the way to go with a one stage paint and not clear coat base coat ,,, but that;s just one man's thoughts

I had clearance issues on my K30 LS3 swap due to the coilovers and ended up using a set from Ultimate Headers. They are nicest production headers I have ever seen.

its been awhile since I have updated but work has taken over! But finally got the driver door and this is the last piece before paint !!!! I am ready to get it home and get my hands on it!!!! I have all new molding and emblems, bumpers and brackets, grille shell!!

twp, looking very good there. I'm starting my 6.0 swap and so I'm keeping an eye on what you're doing. Couple of questions: what headers/manifolds did you decide on. what did you do with fuel tank/pump? Are you going with drive by wire or cable? What about your speedometer? Also, are you sticking with your original brake booster master cylinder or are you going hydroboost?

I did the 2010-15 Camaro manifolds for exhaust and I used an original style gas tank with an outside pump but may go with a different tank with internal pump! Not sure what you mean by wire or cable? I have not got to the speedometer yet and I did go with the original booster and master cylinder!

I was referring to your accelerator. Either drive by wire that uses the newer accelerator pedal assembly and electronically controls acceleration... or adapting your existing pedal and cable that that manually opens the throttle body. I'm not completely sure the procedure, but you have to make adjustments in your wiring harness if you decide to go with drive by cable.
As far as your speedometer, I really dig what ls1nova71 did with his. Take a look, http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=512751 . I'll probably try to do this, but it's gonna take some work. The look of the instrument panel is one of the reasons I love these trucks, so to be functional and look as good as his is a win-win. I haven't seen many other good alternatives. I also really like what GMC-YA68 did with his fuel tank, here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=663780 . Extra 10 gallons plus the in tank fuel pump.
