Re: Serpentine belt conversions

Are there any parts #'s for a power steering line that will convert this pump to our boxes? I was able to use the original high pressure hose but had to use the fitting in the rear of my old pump. If a newer hose will work what should I order? I have another one of these for my Blazer but can't seem to find another fitting on here. Anyone have an old pump with the fitting?

The late pump (80-up) has a "o-ring" type fitting. The early pump has a inverted flare type fitting. You can swap them out. I have the early type if needed. Thanks, Tom

Re: Serpentine belt conversions

Thanks for the fitting -worked perfect. Problem with my system though. I installed it and the water pump pulley is almost hitting the crank pulley. I did have to buy a water pump and got one for the same system that is on my other truck. 92 Caprice. The pulleys are the same diameter. Only thing I can think is I have the wrong water pump. I have to take off the pump pulley to install the belt. PITA! My other truck is fine though. For that one it came with a pump Off an engine I bought that had a rebuilt pump and everything else. I never thought the pumps would have offset mounts and figured they were all in the same place. WHAT GIVES?

Re: Serpentine belt conversions

Definitely interested!
Would you be getting more soon? I would like a SBC kit w/o the air compressor or alternator, not detailed.

What would be the total price for that shipped to 95070?

Thanks
