I think the boy would have had more fun siting in that seat while the mud was flying.

Im in hermiston oregon, about 200 miles east of portland, I was the same way with mine after paint and all, Then I got a smoking deal on a detroit locker for the rear and a track-lock for the front $225.00 for the pair and its been down hill from there, Its alot more fun using it and really enjoying it than just cruising around

im my world that is NOT a mud hole.. we call it a "aids pit" because nothing but gross crap grows there and it never dries

It wasnt bad, it has moving irrigation water running through it and then out to the pond that we drive trough to "wash" the undercarriage. I spent an additional 2 hours with the hose at home washing out underneath and the top side, After all that i stuck the sprinkler underneath it for a couple hours to give it a "final" rinsing.

I used to be a avid mud bogger, but had been away from it long enough to forget why i stayed away from it so long. Fun to play in but forever to clean up afterwards

Those pics of the child seat in the rear are great - your little guy would have taken quite the mud bath!
