Make sure to buy it off of the craigslist add ...... it's only $1450.00 there while it's $1900.00 on here .........

It has been on Ebay for a couple of months...on and off

Good project and it would be nice to save it

But you have to be able and willing to do all the work yourself

There is no economic way to restore these old projects if you pay someone to do it.

Although not a lot of panels survived the top of the market for a good one is 10 to 15000.00

Which does not go far in a restoration shop today

I actually saw a K code Panel a few years ago.It was for sale but at a swap meet and you could still smell the paint offgassing. This one looks pretty good.It may need new bed wood fro the looks of the rear doors.I would want to take the time to crawl all over it to see just how much rust but it looks real solid.

GMCPaul has a factory K code panel 1968. I know, i sold it to him. It was,and may still be a turd. But im sure he still has it.

I bought it off Ebay cheap. and couldn't bring myself to do anything with it. It was rough. But was a factory 4x4.

Quite a few threads on panels lately. Makes me feel good about mine again. Its going to be my winter project with my nephews. If I dont like the look when its finished its good to know some one will give me top dollar for it

There is no money in doing ANY restoration. The prices of project cars are mostly relative to their restored value.
Case in point: My buddy recently bought a 56 nomad project car for $9500....I'm guessing that the car can't be properly completed for less than $30k more and would hafta then compete for buyers with $30k nomads.
To him, this is not an issue because he wants to build a nomad FOR HIMSELF!
Personally, I appreciate that 67-72s remain affordable, both as projects and finished trucks. Everybody considers these trucks cool, and they will only become more scarce (and pricey) as time moves on. Enjoy the affordability while you can!
