Porterbuilt dropmember motor mount not lining up.

So we have a 56 in the shop we're putting together. Full porterbuilt front airbag setup. The motor mount location on the sub frame isn't lining up with the motor mount location on the dropmember. Its about a 1/4" off on the passenger side and a little more than that on the drivers side. Is this just welded wrong or am i miss something here? The whole front end is bolted together, with brakes and tires mounted also, so i dont have any room for adjustments.

Not yet. Talked with Nate and he offered to send me another upper mount if I damage it when I remove it. I will re-weld it in the correct spot, using the motor mount plates to locate it.

Re: Porterbuilt dropmember motor mount not lining up.

Same here, he sent new mounts for us to weld on. Apparently we had one of the first dozen or so kits made and some things were off.
