Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!
When I'm down in Kansas at college, I use my truck as a daily driver. My uncle still lives on the family farm, and I go out to help with farm work on some weekends. I sometimes use it out there.

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!
I picked up some salt for the water softener in the '71 GMC. Maybe a load of salt in the bed of my old truck's not a great idea.

My 71 doesn't get used for hauling too much anymore other than a yearly firewood run, some tailgating and showing off.

I trimmed all of the trees around the place and My wife says "I'll go get the wheel barrow". I told her not to bother I'd just go get the '70. Can you imagine how many wheel barrow loads that would be.... LockDoc

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!
Finally am able to contribute to this thread, our yard got flooded and we had to go rescue some firewood. My truck was the only way we had to transport it. sadly I dont have any pictures of it in the water, but it was past the axles in water.

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!
I'm getting ready to deliver a farmall cub I sold today. first time towing with this truck, and plan on taking it slow, ( no power brakes). I only have to go 6 miles down the road, no hills to go down, but a couple I have to go up. I'll be delivering it in the morning....

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!
Seems like most of the haulers are C20 or bigger...
I plan on towing my Mitsu Evo race car with my C10. Provided I can stop it all, will my 1/2 ton tow a 3,000 pound car plus open trailer?

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!
Does your trailer have brakes?
Can you? yes...Should you? Possible. Th trailer and car will weigh more than your truck. Brakes are the thing I worry about most, then coolant system, especially if you are taking more than short local runs.
