I dropped off some moulding and he's starting to get that put on.

Billet Specialties coil covers. Steering column shaft is in too. Starting to hook up the wiring harness, got it to crank today. Getting very close to first start.
Everything looks great! Love the coil covers the best.

I'm glad you like them. I plead temporary insanity for buying them.

Re: 66 Buick Skylark - Ruth

Ruth is looking FINE!!! Kyle's doing some nice work!

What's with the two different steering wheels? I assume the last photo is the final wheel (hollow spokes) and the first wheel (solid spokes-looks like the Chicayne wheel by BS) was just to move Ruth around the shop. Is this a good assumption, or did you change your mind?

Gauges look nice! Are you using a red half wrap on the steering wheel?

Re: 66 Buick Skylark - Ruth

Good eye there Duane!

The Chicayne was originally ordered by me, but it didn't quite have the right vibe with me. Kyle had a Vintec on hand and I'm much happier with it as it goes with the wheels better, IMO.

Yes, it now has the red half wrap on it using extra material from the seats.

Kyle asked me to put his name on the title, so there it is.

Ruth's looking great! I bet you're anxious to get her done and home so you can have some fun. I know I would be.

He's always looking! May take a while to get to the front of the line, but once he starts, things happen fast.

Got the grill and bumpers on.

Re: 66 Buick Skylark - Ruth

I got to look at it for the first time in over a month last week. Let me tell you guys - the px look great, but don't do it justice. I wish you guys could hear it - Kyle fabbed up the exhaust for it, and it has the attitude to match.
