If you can't persuade that crossmember out with the hammer... you can always cut it in half with the sawzall. It's not good for much more than scrap after you install the new shock crossmember!

I should be able to make some good progress today. I hope to get the frame cleaned up and painted - Porterbuilt - Stage II installed, trailing arms cleaned up painted and new bushings installed. - So pretty much have the rear half buttoned up!! We'll see

Ya - my son joined Scouts and this is our first Pinewood Derby. They said the parents could do one too - so my son was like Dad you gotta do one - of course I bit and have gotten a little to into it.

We have our race tomorrow so we'll see. I really don't care about the race for me. He did a real cool car too so that part is exciting!
