Test drive?

Hi all, I haven't driven my 1960 C10 for almost 15 years. Been in storage waiting for a restoration. It's bagged on 2.5" dropped spindles and about as low as you can go without a notch in the back.

I'd really like to get a test drive in a truck that can lay frame on a custom chassis. Anyone in NorCal on a Switch, GSI, Scotts, PBFab, Acme frame or front and rear drop members?

It's going to get a big investment and I want to make an educated decision on which vendor to use. I'm willing to travel a couple hours north, east, or west. I'm in San Jose, CA area.

Thanks, Keith

Re: Test drive?

I lived in Santa Clara back in the day, attended Buchser High School when it was on Benton near Pomeroy (called something else now). Went to Curtis (called something else now) and Pomeroy elementary as a child. I remember cruising 1st in San Jose a few times. Is that still going on?
