Suggestions Needed For Installing Fender Emblems
Well, once the truck is painted I will re-install the fender emblems. The problem is this, I can only access the forward-most nut on the one of the posts that hold the "Custom/20" badge on the fender. The other is back far enough to hardly even get to it because the cab frontsides cover this area. What can I do shy of loosening the fender (I do not want to do this!) at the top to gain access with my big ass hand! I thought of epoxying one in the hole and putting the nut on the other.

you can put a dab of clear silicone on the emblem post.....tape the emblem on till the silicone cures......it holds the emblem tight and stops rattle.....

Thread the nut on before you start to cut threads in the post. Sears make a tappet wrench that is an open end wrench thay is 12 inches long. Tape the nut in the end of the wrench and it will start fairly easy. Tighten emblem...no problem

Six Pack, I think there was a post not too long ago about this. Maybe try a search. I remember someone posting pics of a tool they made and some tips on getting the nuts on... Or Tom's method will work.

Take your emblem to Napa and get some inserts that fit. They just slip in the holes and you are able to push your emblem on without having to put nuts on it. They make them for other types of cars it is just a matter of finding one that fits. It also lets you have the ability to take it back off easly if you want to.
