Re: 71 Cheyenne Super- A Combined Effort

I had to take a little break from the truck to do some maintenance on my wife's daily driver...darn responsibility!

I did work on the cab for a few hours tonight...but there is nothing worthy of pictures. gcburdic and I are spending more time chasing parts than anything right now!

Guys...next scheduled work weekend is the end of March...YIKES!!!....Jesse and I live about 3 hours away from each other....so making weekends work is tougher on me (I'm a busy body) than it is for Jesse

It will work better once you find a job here and move to the Raleigh area.

Re: 71 Cheyenne Super- A Combined Effort

I messed around with the driver's rocker again this weekend. Not much to look at there. I did rearrange the garage so I can fit the vehicles in. Here is what it looks like:

If you have checked out VA72C10's latest build thread, my garage looks almost as "tight" as his!

Re: 71 Cheyenne Super- A Combined Effort

I had some car ministry work on Saturday, but had a couple of hours afterwards to work on the Super. The kick panel on the driver's side is fitted and tacked in place as well as the front core support. Here are pictures:

The Camaro is my wife's first car. We resurrected it from the dead a couple of years ago. It is a 1985 Sport Coupe. Here are a couple of pictures:

The time period when I was working on it is the only time I have lied to my wife, "honey, I need to work late again tonight, I won't be home until later"...then I would head off to a friend's shop to work on the Camaro. She has since forgiven me.

Re: 71 Cheyenne Super- A Combined Effort

I worked all of about 15 minutes fitting the lower a-pillar patch on Saturday, then a 98 Civic pulled up and needed a timing belt change. Boo!!! That kept me busy the rest of the day.

Anyway, Geoff and I have a weekend set aside at the end of March to work on the Super. We should have more pictures then...unless we get distracted by something else.

The truck is coming along great!
And I'll never complain about not having
room to work again.

I've been watching this build, looks great! I have to ask about the lift. What is your ceiling height and who made the lift?
