Should I trash this door?

So this door is otherwise fine but as you can see, I discovered this rust on the bottom. I wire wheeled it and it seems ok but I wanted some extra opinions.

The fact anyone is even asking this makes me want to cry!!!! We would give anything in the northeast to have rust free doors like you are throwing away!!!

Yea, I know a few guys who would do about anything for that kind of good. Be sure to check the inside also as things hide in the dark!

Re: Should I trash this door?

Considering I had to drop the window hoop on the "new" doors my customer sent me for his truck, I'd fix those in a heart beat. By dropping the hoop what i mean is I removed the upper part of the door and trimmed it to fit lowered it and rewelded the top back on the door. The new door was about a 1/2 inch too tall. It wasn't hard to do it took a little time figuring what was wrong though

I just picked up a repop passenger side door for my truck and also found it was too tall. I'm debating on fixing the original door which is way worse than this door we are talking about here. I wish I never bought the repop door.

Re: Should I trash this door?

I sure wish an American company would step up and start making body panels for our trucks that are perfect fits.
