to be able to drive it, and get enough lift to turn with these tires, i set up this temporary ball valve set up. i aired it up with a cig. lighter compressor and the fittings don't seem to be leaking even after 6 hours. i need to get some power cable for my viair compressor this week.

still need a tank and pressure switch, 8 smc 1/2 valves, avs 7 switch switchbox and dot air line. the clear line on my truck is made by parker but when i got it home i noticed the working pressure is only 90 psi. for some reason i thought i saw 250 when at the parker store. it is holding at 140 psi right now but need to be safe and get the parker dot air brake line.

probably will add another viair 380. already have plenty of easy street dual needle gauges

nice daily ride youre building. you really only need 6 valves unless youre trying to do s2s an all.

i was thinking i want 8 since the rear will handle better with 2 valves on each rear. that way the air won't transfer and i'll have less sway. i think thats gonna help. idk

i sold my tires and wheels

put some spare steelies on until i get my 20's

1 inch of clearance

with 31's i measured 33 inches to the fender well.
bagged with 31's was 25 1/4 inches.
now with the 26 1/2 inch tires it reads 23 3/4 inches.

the tires i want are 255/35/20's, so just a little bigger than these tires. i think i remember them being 27 something tall.

i took the inner fenders out because the bigger tires wouldnt clear.

they were easy to take out...just unbolted them

5.25 backspace

since i have the 1 inch light duty rotors...i think they should go on with no trouble, i think people just take off their dust caps and put the boss cap on

not sure if i'll get the 20 x 10's or 8.5's for the rear yet

hmmmmm...this would put my axle thru the frame and an inch higher...but it would have to be exact to get the axle perfectly to the center of the peak...idk maybe i should do it the boring way......
