Another one coming back,1965 C10

Only 6 days to go until I get to to see the truck before its shipped back to the UK,here's a few pictures from the listing.
I'm heading to the U.S. On Thursday, so Friday going parts shopping for the truck and my mustang.
Parts I've though of so far, new front bumper, rear roll pan ,parking lights (to convert the turn signals for the UK MoT) and some new fender trim as I can see that's it is missing in the pictures.I am also picking up a couple of windows and a pair of bumpers for the mustang as I'd like to put all this big stuff in the truck for the shipping home.
After I have seen the truck on Saturday I can pick up any other bits I may think I need and bring it back in my luggage.

About myself,I have a few vehicles, luckily the wife can't see them from the house....
1969 Ford Mustang coupe (project)
1977 Triumph Spitfire
1978 Hillman/Chrysler Avenger
1989 Dodge Ram 350 camper
1980s Jago Jeep kit car
2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee (parts mover)
So plenty to keep me in the garage!

Danny

Yuuuuuppp.

Welcome, and do look forward to seeing you get busy with your truck when it gets here.

How desperate are you for a seat?

Hi Danny

Yes, I may well have a decent (not perfect) free one available.

I think I sent you my number. Call me between 8.30 and 10.30 tomorrow to discuss.

Looks nice, I would check the numbers on the engine to make sure it is truly a 327 and not a 283

Danny,

Ever truck needs a name. Just noticed the bonnet/hood figurehead but can't make it out. Is it a Duck?

Re: Another one coming back,1965 C10

Thanks for the info guys, 63 grill, and 66 emblems.the vin tag also indicates it was originally white from the factory, but looks like turquoise under the White.so must have been white, then turquoise then white again! I believe the guy has owned it for a long time,so may be able to get some good info from him at the weekend!

Not sure about the wheels....luckily I got a set of originals from PaulY!

Used these with a headlamp relay kit I got off of eBay for less than the price of a single relay from Maplins!

Passed the MOT with no problems and gives a good bright light for the dark British winters...

Danny,

On your shopping trip I would pick up a new master cylinder to convert your single circuit brakes to duel. Easy job and makes it a lot safer "just in case". Would probably be advisable to get new flexible brake lines as well.

+100 on the master cylinder.

No need for disc conversions.

Good to talk to you mate.

Re: Another one coming back,1965 C10

Good suggestion re duel line master cylinder, would anyone have a specific part number or manufacturer?

I'm guessing any good parts store around Seattle will stock these as I imagine they are pretty universal on 60-70s vehicles.
