notsolo Registered User Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Md Posts: 2,451	Need Advise on Painting Black Center of 71 upper Trim OEM upper trim was in good condition, and I plan to reuse it. Not looking for show quality but would like to tape it off and repaint the black, in the center. Any suggestions advise on prep for painting alum? Polish it as much as possible then tape it off?
