6 lug to 5 lug

I have 69 panelwith factory 6 lug axles and front hubs. I want to change these over to 5 lug stuff because more wheels of my liking in 5 lu pattern.
Im wondering if any of the newer trucks 5 lug axles or front suspenion parts will swap over. I figure axles of same spline will work as long as lengths right. front stuff Im in question of. I know there are lots aftermarket stuff to do this but if can get basic parts then use new rotors I ight be able to save cpl bills. The aftermarket stuff is fairly high from what Ive found. I have plenty of time before its a issue just thought I might find out what to look for from few of you guys.
