64-66 V8 fan size?
Hey guys just in the process of breaking in my rebuilt 1968 327. Breaking in the cam today based on instructions from engine rebuilder, keep it at 2000-3000rpms for 15 minutes.
About 10 minutes in I noticed the engine was getting warm so shut it down. I was running it with a stock fixed 19 fan, no shroud. I have a stock 64-66 V8 shroud but the 19 fan hits. Did these trucks come from the factory with an 18 fan? Thanks. |

How many blades? Which fan? Where did you get it? Have a link? A pic?

Re: 64-66 V8 fan size?
I got it off the local VarageSale for $5. Guy had a bunch of old sbc parts that I gladly took for similar prices.
Its a 4 blade, 17 5/8 diameter, fits nice with the stock shroud. The 19 I took the time to clean and paint is next to it. |
