Jason-

Now cut one of yours apart!

I have intentionally avoided posting any comparison/contrasts in your thread out of professionalism....

Nit pick all you want... how about you tell us all about the suspension geometry of the SD kit... I am really curious about the "corvette alignment specs" for the C10 factory geometry????????

That is what I like about Nate, and I haven't even met or even talked to him on the phone yet. Everything that he has posted and has been said about him by other is what makes him THE professional that he is.

Re: $999 for a Dropmember

Lets all remember why this thread was started... Nate released an updated product for a new lowered price... And the good news is we are all allowed to spend our cash on whatever we want... One product doesnt have to be bashed or picked apart because you want to buy the other or think its a better deal... I drive a dropmembered truck everyday and know where I will be spending more money in the future even if it does cost more...

Nate was the first to contrast on this forum. The post that he was so upset about was full of compliments and praise. It was also a PM that was posted by the recipent.

I find it funny that Thorbecke Bros. is whom referred you to the site.. you never provided a location in your profile as required, and bfe is not an acceptable location you never did an intro post and have not contributed to the site at all besides in this post, which is mostly trolling IMHO. Oh and the fact that you and thorebeck bros have the same ip logged is interesting as well...

I am sick of the bull**** in this post and others. I will NOT put up with vendors signing up to slam other vendors or start crap and I wont set back n watch users magically appear at the same time to do nothing other then keep the bs stirred. Cut the crap or log out.. I can not make it any simpler to comprehend then that.

Re: $999 for a Dropmember

hmm. things are getting interesting. but nate started it page 6 post 128 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...&postcount=128
then jasons reply has now dissappeared.
it was interesting to see a dropmember opened up but jason shouldve posted that in his own thread and not jumped in this one.
i like seeing the comparisons but not arguing.
on to my question
nate do you have another part number for the power rack? i couldnt come up with what i needed. and will any 79-93 mustang power rack work? i found a place on ebay that has rebuilt units for about 100 bucks.

These are actually by Unisteer. Same as this but at a much better price. Plus, you can't beat a lifetime warranty!

Here's how I know...

Group buys can happen anytime... I define a group buy as 5 or more.

Re: $999 for a Dropmember

Nate i going to be ready to order my drop member next week this is what i have in front tell me what we can do to make this work. I have the strong arms upper and lower, 2.5 drop spindles , slam bags and want to lay between a 29.5 to 30 inch tire what can we do. I currently have 29 inch tall tires on my 23s i have hopes of 24s if possible. Also i want to run a 61 cadillac 390 with a turbo 400 do you think is the same as other big blocks possibly and your DM is the man i like the 1.5 narrow track on each side. Can you please advise me on this.

Re: $999 for a Dropmember

Does it matter which dropmember is ordered with the group buy. Can one person order a C4 DM while the other 4 order the regular DM. Or some combination of the two?

Draglac-

Shoot me PM with your number and a good time for me to call. There will be a few items to discuss. It won't be a problem making it get down where you want, I will just have to tweak some stuff.

The C4 version is a little more expensive than the regular DM... but would still be good for the 10% group buy discount. They can be mixed and matched all you want.

Ed-

Just make sure the tie-rod ends on the T-bird rack are the same thread as the Mustang unit (9/16-18). I am not positive, but I think I recall there being a difference between the mustang and T-bird rack at a certain year split.

Get 10 guys together and we will see what we can do.

Ed, Don't tell Shane I'm answering a vendor's question for ya Since I just researched and bought mine I read that TRW has a 2 piece steel/aluminum casting, Ford has a 1 piece all aluminum casting. I have not heard/read about any clear superiority between the two. Both will work with the DM.
