A great project sub for sale up in the pacific northwest

I've been contemplating this for several days, but.......

1. I just sold my two projects because I don't have the time because of my business.

2. My kids are all out of the house, so I don't need the space of a suburban.

If this were a blazer I would have it home already. Here's what I know.

-Seller says all the rust repair and body work were done correctly, but when it was painted (7 years ago) the job was botched. It has been sitting since then because his dad was upset about it and didn't want to finish it.

-Transmission needs rebuilt. Motor had the top end done 5K miles ago.

-Lots of other work done already.

Here's the pics I got from him via text with a taste of few of them.

As you can see, this would be a killer small project for someone. Like I said, if it were a blazer I would have it home already.

Someone buy this thing before I do something stupid.

Owning a Suburban, specially a 4x4, is never stupid.

True dat. The stupid part is buying a project that you know you don't have time for. :-)

Honestly, I would like to pick it up just because it's cool and just drive it now and then, but I already don't have enough garage space.

Re: A great project sub for sale up in the pacific northwest

That looks like a great deal! Our kids are grown, have families of their own and we bought a 72 Burb this year simply because we love them. A couple weeks ago our daughter, her husband and our two grandsons used it to go with us to a car show. We took another vehicle. That day was the best day we have had in many months and will always remember, a big part because of the Suburban.

If you want it and can make it all work out, go for it. I looked for months for ours and that one is a decent price...if is solid and as advertised.

Busy with your business? Hire someone to finish it up for you. Out of garage space? Rent a storage unit.

I know..I am not helping.
