got my exhaust bolted up, front pulleys bolted on, core support cleaned, painted and set back on then the rain came and ruined my day. pics to follow

anyone liking the progress i seem to be talking to myself. anyways got the radiator and tranny cooler installed today, also fired it up again with the exhaust mounted up its a little quieter than i like but we will see after i get it going up the road.

so got my driveshaft p[painted today and was about to install so i could fill my tranny up and the rain started again. i wish the rain would stop for just a few days in a row i reeally want to drive my truck

i cranked my truck with the key today im oh so close. ran my wiring harness, new hoses, belts, mounted radiator, mounted wheel wells

I talk to myself all the time. I'm liking where this is going. Good to see someone out in their yard, cleaning, busting hump getting work done. I'm not really the " oh, look how cool the pictures that the guy that's building your truck for you sent you" kind of guy.

yea its getting kinda lonely in here but oh well i'm using this to show everyone look what i did and how i did it, i guess no one likes a budget build that's not slammed or injected. i don't have the luxury of a shop to work in or any kind of money, just doing it how ever i can, this is a poor mans build. tallied it up the other night and with all my receipts I've only got +- $1200 in my truck not counting how much i paid for it. but man if i could bill out the hours I've put in this it would make me cry.

my brand new edelbrock 600 w/ electric choke, i was tired of jacking around with old carbs so i broke down with my tax refund thats sposed to go to my wife a car oops

found my radiator is busted has anyone ever used the northern aluminum race radiators from northern auto parts

so i know ill prolly catch some crap for this but i found this out in my shed and decide to mount it to my hood. old school dodge scoop. needs some work but i want to use it. gonna mount it with the openings to the front



sanded it and put a little primer on it to see what needs to be done

sure was saving it for a special occasion i have an old square that i put a set of old model firebird ram air scoops on a square and i really liked it until i decapitated a bird with it
