Wiring issue, grounding problem?

When I turn on my right turn signal my high beam light flashes. Both turn signals work.

I turn on my headlights and push on the high beam switch, the headlights go out.

My gas gauge reads half full and doesn't move at all.

Is this a grounding issue? If so What areas do I need to ground more? Or what could be the problem? Thank you for any help.

Very well could be grounds but The first thing I would do is check the plug in connector on the dimmer switch or replace the dimmer switch as long as you know the high beams on the headlight bulbs are both good. The connector is known for having corrosion problems and broken wires.

LockDoc.

I swapped out the dimmer switch with a used one. It did the same thing. If I remember correctly at the beginning of my build, I would turn on the high beam switch the right turn signal indicator would stay on. Now it doesn't do that. I've added more lights to my bed.

Both headlights are new and low and high beams work.

If you haven't already, I would go ahead and check the ground straps then. Read through this thread.

Re: Wiring issue, grounding problem?

I have ground straps from valve cover to front of the cab.
Left side Radiator support to frame.
Right side inner fender skirt to frame.
Battery to motor mount.
Front of engine to frame.
Right and left cab mounts to frame.
Bed lights ground to two electrical boxes and the boxes ground to frame.

Re: Wiring issue, grounding problem?

The dimmer switch contacts get dirty so I'd suggest you cycle the switch 10-20 times.
Gas gauge, check if the wire is connected at the tank, check voltage. The sender could be bad.
Make sure the cluster pcb is grounded where it should be.
