Love the stance! What are the details on the roof rack?

Re: Finished lowering the front of 'burb pics included

Last one, total drop achieved was 6inches with the help of 3 inch drop spindles from belltech, some no-name 2inch drop springs from eBay with a coil cut out. Also upgraded to disc brakes in the process.

Roof rack came from another member here on the forum from his '72 suburban. Dealer installed item on his and a bit of horse trading took place and it ended up on mine.

Hard to get the rear very low without a C Notch on the frame. Mine is low and every once in a while it hits the frame.
Oh, let me know if you every want to sell that third row seat.......

Re: Finished lowering the front of 'burb pics included

I was thinking of using a 1-2 inch lowering block and air bags to bring it down some more and if it's too low I can always add air to the bags. What do you guys think?

Thanks for the compliment. Just so you now this is what I had after doing a ton of work on the interior replacing floorboards, rockers, pieces of rubber mat with now carpet and pulling the original green seats. ( I lost all the pictures of the truck when I first purchased it).

Here is some inspiration for you. But I don't think you need it as you are putting out some very nice work on yours now.

Re: Finished lowering the front of 'burb pics included

I'm looking for some 6 lug 8 inch (or a tad wider) mags ... any chance that's what those are in the before pics? If so if you still have them are you interested in selling them?

Good eye CG they are 15x8's I've had to go with 15x6's on the front in 5lug version also have to convert the rears to 5lug still. I have both sets of 15x6's and 15x8's in 6 lug. So yea the 6 Lugers are gonna be useless to me. Can I get back to you if I decide to part with them? Only reason I might possibly have them lined up for another project not mine my younger brother. If He doesn't want them I'll let you know.

Re: Finished lowering the front of 'burb pics included

No problem. I purchased a set of four 8 inch 6 lugs awhile back and never really looked at them, they were a good price so I snapped em up. I cleaned all the dirt and grim off of them and Id rather start with something a little better lol. You can get them new again, id prefer to have an old set though. Seems like they aren't super expensive to ship, anyway let me know.

Haven't really had a chance to drive it as I'm waiting on brake hoses for the front. Although I did idle it down the block from my house and back it seemed ok also removed the bump stops from the rear.

Yea I seen that, I work in red bluff too so that makes me even closer to you lol. About the only thing I could see needing here possibly would be a spare hatch since my has some rust and it is broken in some places.

Sounds like a good plan. Like others have said, a notch to the frame, a small pipe notch or c will be in the future if going much lower. Personally i think you nailed the stance. Looks great!!
