Swaping wheels on an '04 Silverado

I've been told by a number of people that Escalade/Denali wheels can be used on a 1/2t Silverado. I've tried but there is binding on the rear caliber. Can the caliper be ground down enough w/o a safety concern to mount these wheels. Looks like about an 1/8" off the outside caliper edge might do it.

What year are the new wheels? If they are from a 99 or older Escalade/Denali they may not work. I they were from a year model similar to yours or newer, they should work.

Ya, I have 05 denali 17" on my 07 classic. They fit no problem, but I also have rear drums.

Are the rims your trying to use 16's? If you can get a set of 17's you might not have this issue.
