Unless you guys know of some company or some one that is hording all the chrome GMC grills .... thanks for any help in this matter

Re: Grill swap

GMC grills pop up on ebay all the time. If your grill s good send it out and have it chrome plated.

Go have your grill chromed plated. I had my original painted grill chromed and it came out great! It cost me about $600.

Re: Grill swap

I would take your original to a chrome plating shop. they will strip off the paint or old chrome ,polish the heck out of it, then copper plate it to fill in any imperfections then nickel plate it, then chrome it. trust me it will look better than finding a chrome one and its still the original that came on the truck

Re: Grill swap

The GMC grill is so nice looking I'd keep it and have it chromed.

Re: Grill swap

There's a chrome GMC on eBay right now. Research, research, dig, dig. If this hobby were easy, everyone would be doing it.
