Heater and a/c blend?
I just bought a 1994 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4.
On the heat and a/c controls, it has a blend up and down botton and a defrost and floor button next to it. On this truck I can have 0ne of three functions. Defrost, vents or floor. The blend switch just seems to move the air to the next position up or down, I'm assuming that I can't have air at more then one place at a time? Like part defrost and part vent. Part vent and part floor? Thanks, I hope I explained this right. |

Re: Heater and a/c blend?
On my 94 I can split between the vents and floor.
I just tap the button until I get the mix I want. Kim |

Re: Heater and a/c blend?
If you are on defrost, tap the floor side (bottom) of the same button once, then tap floor again to stop the arrow in the middle.

Re: Heater and a/c blend?
they are goofy, you have to hit the center of the button not the top or the bottom. Best explanation is you have to "capture the arrow" at the ratio you want for floor vs vent, or floor vs defrost.

Re: Heater and a/c blend?
Lol, I will try that. Thanks. I have been hitting the top or bottom thinking it should stop when I stop hitting the botton. But it just keeps on going. Haha. Thank you all
