My question is after installing the new outer rockers. How to primer then paint inside of them? i seen someone with a rattle can and a tube on the end to do it?

Re: Arter installing new outer rockers.

Eastwood sells an Internal Frame Rail Coating spray bomb that comes with a long hose. I've bought a couple cans, but have never used it.

I've coated the insides with etching primer, weldable primer, and whatnot, prior to welding. I think an internal spray after assembly would be smart.

Oldschool it used to be called Cavity Wax. Its the same idea as Skinny described. Long hose off a rattle can. Kinda coats the inner area in a thin coating to prevent stuff building up. Its NOT a paint though.

When my body was on the ground I used that in the roof, a and B pillar, Rockers, hinge pillars, rear lower corners everywhere I could get to. I'm hoping it helps.

Re: Arter installing new outer rockers.

Has anybody used Ziebart rust proofing. It is invasive in that they drill holes to get into the rockers and such. A plastic plug is used to seal the holes.
If they are still in business their process works. I think I had the only Vega Station Wagon that never rusted.

Ziebart used to be very popular in the 60's and 70's. They are still around.
