I love the fact that your older rig appears to sit lower than your S10.

This is true. When the 65 is road worthy though the S-10 will catch up with it i plan on a stock floor body drop and a two tone paint for the s-10. It was my first truck so I cant neglect it too much.

Thanks for all the replies guys. It is nice to have some feedback on what everyone thinks about it.

Re: Project: 65 C-10

Off of school for a month. Got a good deal on a set of 22s I couldnt pass up. Tubbed the drivers side firewall lastnight and cut the other side out today. Going to finish that up tonight. Also finished up the shifting linkage. Its getting closer. hnoes:

Well maybe some updates later on.

Large diameter tires will hit the firewall. Has to be modified to allow turning clearance.

I love those 60-66 fleets, lower you go the more they tuck the back wheel. Great build. Where are you in WV? I grew up in Williamstown, right outside of Parkersburg. Nice ride!

Re: Project: 65 C-10

Sorry guys, well havent updated in quite some time. the truck is on the road now. i have been cruising a little farther and farther away from the house everytime i take it out. Having some small problems but nothing big. Exhaust is done. Gave it a quick prime job to resemble what the paint will be like. Wooden bed floor is almost done.

The garage gets very full at times during winter.

Sheet metal and fenders under prime

Ha that has yet to be decided. Maybe a billet hinge coming off of the firewall or the only other real option is a suiicided hood.

The compressor is a Sanden 508. My dads friend had the bracket and gave it to me. He got it with is A/C kit he bought, but he got the billet bracket instead so he gave me the steel one. It was made for a pass. side mounted ac pump but I cut it up and flipped the brackets around to make it a drivers side ac pump. I can get the brand and stuff if you are really interested in it.

P.S. I will NEVER buy another electric compressor after having this EDC. I am going to put a EDC on my S-10 also.
