MZ Edna sway bar install
I got the sway bar mocked up under the car while it's sitting on the ground. I need to know one thing though...should I mount the bushings to the main frame horn are the stiffener. The thing looks like it should fit on the frame but it lines up better on the stiffener. I tried to get the right angles but it doesn't look like I did to good with it.
Anybody installed on on a 56 before?

If the metal is the same thickness on the stiffener I wouldn't have a problem with doing that. It would def. line up better LockDoc

Thickness is the same but the rail isn't as wide. That could be a + though.

My brackets are in the main frame rails.
I laid on a cold floor to get these Andy. You belong to the TriFive forum don't you? I looked and couldn't find any good pics of the bar.

That's what I needed to see. I went back out last night and looked at mine again also laying on a cold floor in the garage. it looks like it will line up fine after a little adjusting. Thanks for the clear pictures. I can now mark mine to drill. I'm on the Chevytalk forum and couldn't find any good photo's but not on Tri5.

Re: MZ Edna sway bar install
We are here to help each other.
The tri five forum is a pretty good bunch of guys too. I have gotten lot of help from them. I put disc brakes on the rear of mine last winter. Now that turned out to be a mind teaser. As usual, I made it a lot harder than it should be.

Re: MZ Edna sway bar install
Man that was much easier than thought! I figured that frame rail was going to be a pain to drill, it was easy but I did have new bits. The a arms where too!
It's much better in a curve now the only thing is sliding around in the seat! Ha... the seat belts help but shoulder harness would be nice.
