Re: My 69 swb backhalfed

Sorry I didnt introduce my self before, I am a 27 year old shop owner with no money. I am building this truck on a shoe string budget at the most.

A few more things about the truck, It is going to be very simple, there will be a radio but nothing overly exciting, the big music maker under the hood will take car of that. Front disc conversion, and I am going to run stock chevy 15" van wheels up front with 235/70/15's and truck wheels in the back with 275/60's. Just a stock bench seat in the cab. The Paint colors are two tone House of kolor limetime green on the bottom and chrysler cool vanilla on the top. This build is actually going to be for my daughter some day, I have 14 years before she takes the keys though so I get to play a little. I am two months into the build so far and I am already chomping at the bit to drive it, this is my dream truck.

Re: My 69 swb backhalfed

thanks for all the comments, I am having lots of fun finally building a truck for myself. It sits in my shop and taunts me all day long, and I made a deal with my wife that i will only work on it 3 nights a week (very hard to do). The bender I use is made locally it is a electric/hydro with hossfield dies, works very nice with zero effort. Thanks for lookin.

Re: My 69 swb backhalfed

Well not much has change, just a few updates. I go the air valves mounted, fuel lines run, and some other little stuff. I did however get the motor fired and am very excited about that. cant wait until its on the road. I will get more pics up in the next few days.
