I thought it had to do with the torque running through the upper bars and wanting the torque to push the chassis through the passenger side. I could be wrong though.

Oh yeah that makes sense, I don't think it makes a lot of difference the way I have it all set up. But it could if the truck was gonna make a lot of power. Gonna be a mildish 350 build make maybe 400 hp. But I am glade you brought it up cuz I may look into it a little more

Let me try to upload some pics, I haven't been on in a while. Kinda had two projects going and finished up my shop and got a lift so lift has been crazy. But the truck is real close to being done. Bought everything to do a 5.3L and 4L80e swap but motor needs rebuilt and trying to buy a house now so gong back with the built SBC I have and built trans and should be setting that in this weekend.

Bed work! Moved the wheel tubs in 3" by building flat sheet metal walls. Also made the tubs fit like factory by cutting the bed floor and moving it all. Flat wall in back for when the tailgate is down from raising bed floor. Cut and welded front wall to appear factory
