Getting driveshaft cut

Well, didnt have any luck finding a shortbed driveshaft. So I purchased one from a longbed to cut down. Couldnt get a measurement from a stock swb driveshaft so I measured my transfer case to rear flat to flat like they told me and I came up with 48 1/4 inches. Getting it cut down balanced and new u-joints installed for 115.00 Anyone care to take these measurements for me to give me an idea if I measured right? My trans case is a 205.
