ChuckDriver, don't get any funny idea's, your clip is a work of art!
In saying that this Porterbuilt IFS is just awesome, I would have gone that way if I hadn't already done my Camaro install.

Total B.A. Baracus! Nice work Del! It's almost going to be sad to see that flat general Lee orange go away, looks badass as is.

Wow, this is an incredible build. I think I am going to have to go this route someday.

Nate, are you already backordered on your kits for these?

Re: Heisenberg

Dammit! I am all laser'd in on the Kraken and missed this whole build! Just when I was all sure of myself buying No Limit stuff you go and throw Porterbuilt into the equation... Porterbuilt stuff is so nice, I am glad they are stepping into 55-59. I am even happier I haven't bought anything yet.

Re: Heisenberg

Is the rear portion in the kit a full back half (to the bumper) or does it only have the notch?

It is a notch assembly that maintains the rear frame rails on the 55-59 chassis.

If you go with a Porterbuilt setup you would need to swap your current frame for a nice un-molested original that has no mods already. I know someone who has an original and would be happy to do you a favor and swap frames with you (insert joker face here).

Can't blame me for trying, LOL.

Re: Heisenberg

I thought the original super gloss uni-tone orange was too much, but I think you should just hit the scuffed orange with some flat or 30 percent satin clear and chrome the bumpers. This is nice....

Re: Heisenberg

Heisenberg update!!

Everything back from powdercoat and it went together as good as it came apart. Motor/trans installed, brake, fuel, air and battery cable all ran. Driveshaft and Accuair sensors all installed and ready. Fuel system with a rad Aeromotive A1000 pump installed in tank. I have a strange feeling we might see a turbo on this baby one day. Cab is ready for pickup at the painters so hopefully we can get it on this weekend.

I have bought trucks for less than what that pump cost. Great choice.
