Yeah, I did it again......

But, who wouldn't want a Tow Truck with all the components and working winches???? Cruised down the road at 65 with no issues. This is going to be a great one at the car shows....

That is a nice score! I worked at a restoration shop back in the 80's and the owner had one. I loved that truck!

Re: Yeah, I did it again......

Well,
I am slowly digging into this one along with the others. Doesn't help that I have to also deal with my new friend Cancer. On my first surgery recovery and it is driving me crazy not doing anything. Three to four month recovery and I am on month one. Got another surgery to schedule tomorrow so this year is going to be a wash.......Love my toys though...

Let the tools do the work....

Smitty,

Sorry to hear about your unwelcome guest. I won't complain any more about my upcoming Carpel Tunnel surgery slowing me down for 4-6 weeks. I would be pretty lost if I couldn't work on anything for as long as you.

Good luck on your treatments and here's to a speedy recovery. (as speedy as possible)

Thanks Leon,

I guess I am lucky, we caught it by mistake and the VA here is all over it. I had zero symptoms and a ultrasound of my liver uncovered a huge mess that had been growing over 10 years according to the Dr. Hasn't spread anywhere that we know of yet. All scans are negative so far. My curse is that I am young and the Dr. said it can spread somewhere and hide for a while. Only time will tell. First three weeks post surgery are the biggest pains in the butt. I got told Friday that if I didn't want my inner stitches to come undone I better take it easy for three to four months....Should have the next surgery date tomorrow then I should be cancer free for a while. I have Bilateral Kidney Cancer. Sucks, but I can get through it. I got eight trucks now and I have no plans to quit on them anytime soon. Number eight is a 72 3/4tn not added to the signature yet ...

Thumbs up Re: Yeah, I did it again......

Sorry to hear about the unwanted guest. Hope everything turns out OK for you.

I love the wrecker. I have a Ramp truck I'm been working on now for a few years. Got to love these old work horses!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Andy,

This one would be a great one to bring to a Goofs gathering. Were you there when we got that Tornado in NC?
