Would you look at that?!!

I cannot believe this, I have wanted a cameo for 16 years, but I couldn't find one that I was reasonably priced so I went out and bought a 55 step side to build and now this ad pops up locally!

Wonder if the wife would notice another truck parked out back....

Re: Would you look at that?!!

Cameo= 2nd 55 wide bed through early production 58's. In 1959 there where called fleetsides. The Cameo was the "sport" model of it's day. The cameos had fiberglass beds and some parts are very hard to find. The only reason I would even attempt that description is that I studied Cameos for the first 4 hours of work since it was slow. Shhh only you and me know. David

Re: Would you look at that?!!

buy the cameo, sell the stepside. dont know if you know or not but gibbons firberglass makes the cameo sides aftermarket, you could always slap those on your stepside, provided your stepside is a big back window, this way you could drive it, have fun with it, and not worry about getting those original glass bed sides getting tagged in a wreck
