Rage gold filler?

opinions? is there a better filler? im going to shave my friends s10 tailgate handle and door handles and hate messing with the Bondo brand because it seems to dry sooner than i can spread it exactly how i want it. i know the mixture has to do with time you have to spread but im wondering if (Evercoat) Rage Gold gives more time when spreading the icing on the cake?

Its good stuff. Thats what I use. Id say the dry time is appropriate. It does sand better than anything out there and spreads really smooth. Id do a test batch first to see how you like the dry time then add more or less hardener to adjust.

Re: Rage gold filler?

Bondo brand is crap compared to Rage. Everything I have ever heard about Rage is good and I like it as well.

Re: Rage gold filler?

I've used Rage Gold and love it. Only problem I had was above 90 degrees it sets REALLY fast, like 30 seconds, so I do a lot of my plastic install in the summer at night! Sands good with 80 grit, but smooths out well with finer grits.

We use Evercoat's Chrome-A-Lite exclusively also. Top shelf. Very easy to work with and sands super easy. If it's going to be a deep fill or needs added strength, use Duraglass first, then finish with Chrome-A-Lite.
