Thanks sir. They are 4" lift springs. I imagine it's possible to run a stock spring but I think you would have to look into the triangulated 3 link style just for clearance. Check out wfo they pretty much have everything to straight axle these

Stock shaft with an offset u joint. There is numerous ways of doing it but this is the most simple and cheapest. The other thing would be slip yoke eliminator at the tcase and run a new d line

Re: Straight axle duramax build

Another question about this. For the ford axle, did you use all the stock ford steering links?

Yes factory ford steering. Wfo sells a tapered pitman arm that is made for it

Re: Straight axle duramax build

I have an 06 duramax and spend most of my time on duramaxforum.com but came across your sas thread while doing some research for my future project. Super clean man! I was planning to do the same thing using 05+ ford axle with ford coil buckets and whatnot. I'm also located in marysville, I would love to check out your setup some day and to maybe pick your brain about what all you used. I've been looking at WFO's stuff and like I said, your setup is exactly what I've been looking for.

Thanks in advance!
