It still doesn't match the good looks of our trucks.

Re: Check out Dale Jr's Chevy!

Looks like some of the trucks you saw in "Roadhouse" or "Urban Cowboy". Not a big fan. I think I signed up to win that thing so if that were the one I would win I'd sell it, pay the taxes on it, and spend the rest on student loans and ol' blue.

^^Agreed. Looks like something cheap that a homo would drive. Gay lights, plastic bar, stupid front clip. Looks like if you hit a bump most of the plastic would fly off.

Wow, gay and homo in a reply. That's something I haven't seen in awhile. As soon as I think we've progessed with more forward thinking, I'll read a reply like this or see a dixie flag displayed. Ignorance is ugly.

Edit: Nevermind... I'm not even going to say that.

I'm pretty sure it was my opinion and you're input isn't needed on that. Just on the truck.

Re: Check out Dale Jr's Chevy!

I'm not sure I have a problem with the word gay in the context that it is used. "Homo"...again used in a more generic term such as "air head". That's the way I read it...I think at times we become to sensitive to words that might be taken out of context. That's why I enjoy this board as it is for the most part family friendly site which is the way it should be. Just my .0000 cents worth.

Re: Check out Dale Jr's Chevy!

The oversized hood scoop and fenders make the front look short, and the rear is sort of plasticy. Just too much going on with it to make it tasteful, have seen plenty of these style trucks driving around which I'm sure you've seen... the guy that has everything Lund sells and every other accessory they've found to glue, screw or weld onto their gaudy rig.

Re: Check out Dale Jr's Chevy!

Saw a black, ext. cab Z71 when the future father-in-law and I went to look at Silverados that I about fell in love with. Looked much better stock than that thing does.
I'm pretty high on the new Avalanches. I'd love to get me an LTZ'd one to roll around the country in talkin to growers.

All Avalanches are made in MEXICO. Please keep us U.S. factory workers jobs around and buy from American built and OWNED companies. Just my too sense.

Re: Check out Dale Jr's Chevy!

The more I look at that truck...the more I like our trucks. Our trucks have a timeless clean & non-cluttered design. If I won that truck I might have a differrent opinion but I just can't say I like that truck verses the 67-72 trucks.

When it comes to car and truck designs...sometimes less is best.
