Re: Just Bought this old girl

Welcome to the forum

In my opinion the '60 and up trucks are a bit easier than the '55-'59 trucks. Many factory parts will interchange up thru '86 in the C/K series and thru '91 in the R/V series.

What are your plans for your Burb?

Going to pick up a 1986 GMC 1/2 ton donor truck for front suspension. Can anyone direct me to the best Thread for this swap?

Re: Just Bought this old girl

Finally found a 5 lug axle, plan is to swap this as soon as I can.I have had a few set backs with my LS swap, options are very pricey. I may just go back to an old 350/carb/turbo trans.
