TH 400 kickdown solenoid

Hi folks,

Just to tell you I’ve changed today my kickdown solenoid on my 1972 C20 fitted with a TH400.

Downshift was not working, or from time to time, kickdown switch mounted on gas pedal.

Learn a few on this forum, changed my vacum modulator, no upgrade, changed today my solenoid bought on rockauto, and now, I own a F18 fighter !!

What a pleasure to have plenty of power just by pressing the pedal and having a responsive trans.

Best day ever !!

Glad to hear you had success getting your transmission working correctly....
