Rams Horns on TPI pix

If anyone has Rams Horns manifolds (esp chrome) fitted to a 350 TPI in their 60-66 could you please post some pictures?
I would appreciate a look before ordering.
Thanks

Re: Rams Horns on TPI pix

I don't think the issue has anything to do with a TPI but more of the center bolt valve covers? I could be wrong on the valve covers but it seems like I have heard that there is an interference issue with ram horn manifolds.

Edit: Here is some info I found on the subject.

Re: Rams Horns on TPI pix

hello I don't have pics but on my 57 wagon I used the rams horn with center bolt covers and had no clearance issues..close but no issues....but take in mind my manifolds were uncut...if the mounting surface had been resurfaced a couple times the manifold could touch the VC...gaskets will give a little clearance..Good luck!

Re: Rams Horns on TPI pix

I had a set on my tbi motor in the 63, not much clearance as mentioned above. I ended up buying a $150 set of headers for an 88-98 that use the stock y-pipe for the same truck. They fit perfect, clear the frame with no grinding, and flow much better. It was a marked improvement. I'll get pics in a few minutes.
