'63 Deluxe seat pricing question...

I recently picked up a 63 LWB Fleetside and love this truck ! But I knew that I was going to do some mods, including bucket seats.

The stock bench (Deluxe) seat and frame in it has a brand new LMC seat cover installed by a local shop, according to the PO.

I guess I am soliciting info from you guys on where I should price this seat at to get it sold. I would love to keep it but have absolutely no more room ! I have it listed for $300.00 and have gotten ZERO bites. Is it not worth that much ?

By the way, does anyone know what the seat weighs, in case someone does bite and wants it shipped ? Not sure how I would even ship it. Build a crate ?

Thanks for any info regarding this: I love this forum !!

Your using photobucket. They no longer work on forums. You can upload pics to your post and actually have pics show up if you were a member, which for the money is great!

Thanks Rocknrod, I used to be a paid member when I had the '61, but apparently it expired. Done deal. The info in this forum is worth more than the membership !

For $300 that seems like a really good deal to me. Too bad you are so far away.

Re: '63 Deluxe seat pricing question...

Nice seat, and worth the money, but looks nothing like factory. I can't for the life of me me figure why someone (a supplier) has not produced a seat cover that even slightly resembles a factory one. I'd be all over your seat for that money if it had the OE look. Still, plenty of owners who couldn't care less about those details, so shipping is your main concern. Maybe separate and send in two boxes to avoid freight charges?
