Buddy Buckets Need Help Please

I have a set of Dodge Buddy Buckets I have had for some time. Can anyone tell me what modification I need to do to make them work in my suburban. Measurements would be great. Thanks

I have a set of them in my '67 Panel Truck but for the life of me I can't remember what I had to do to get them to bolt up. I will look in the morning.

I finally made it out to the storage building to check mine but I'm afraid my installation won't help you much. The Panel Truck has a step up across the floor even with the back of the doors. I just had to move the buckets back against the step up , center it side to side, mark the holes in the floor and drill them.

I put a 3" wide 1/4" flat steel bar under the floor for the front and rear bolts on each side and tightened it all up.

Re: Buddy Buckets Need Help Please

You might post this on the Burban side of the site. The Dodges are similar to the Chevy ones but they come with a slide on the passenger side. But I have no idea as if the same conversion for keeping the center back upright in a Suburban will work. Do some searches for converting a pickup seat to a Suburban application. I know you can also find some information on using the Dodge version in a pickup. There is also a "Show your Buddy Buckets" thread that may give you a lead to PM the right person. You may have to do some Imagineering of your own.
Good luck.
