I used to think they were the ugliest hood ever but after a while they started to grow on me. Then I got tired of the 63-66 plane-jane hoods and now the 60-61 hoods are the best looking and least appreciated hoods out there. Love 'em...

Hi Don, new member here. I just picked up a '60 Long Stepside barn find. It sure was cool looking at your pictures because I have been studying and researching every nook and cranny of the truck. I posted 3 pictures of it in the gallery.

I want to start a thread like yours. How do you put pictures in the body of the post like you did? I clicked on the icon and it wants a URL address. I don't have one. The pics are just on my hard drive.

In the mean time, mine has a 283 with 2 speed powerglide and it runs, has big rear window, and is all original. The first thing I did was media blast and powder coat the original wheels and put original type bias tube tires on it!

I think I attached a photo to this for you to see..............
