Re: Little Brothers 74 Build Up!

You mentioned the midnight black engine room. Planning on painting the accessories and stuff? I have also done the black and silver room and reckon the black on black would be cooool. Especially gloss on gloss. Maybe some matte flames, graphics or so. Something, that keeps the looker locked under the hood for awhile.

Re: Little Brothers 74 Build Up!

Install looks great! The only suggestion I have is to keep your eyes open for an 88+ airbox from a TPI firebird. The one you're using is the 85-87 airbox and it's horribly restrictive. Even on my old 2.8 firebird, replacing that airbox gave a noticable improvement in power and sound. On a healthy 350, that's going to restrict the air badly.

Re: Little Brothers 74 Build Up!

Are you going to re-brace the rear of the frame where you pulled the stock brace out? (I am looking at your last picture..perhaps they are out of order?)

I think they are out of order. 2 up shows the rear on there..
It looks STRIKINGLY familiar to be also...

I haven't gotten mine yet, but I was going to get a Lokar cable. Were you wondering about a stock one?

A factory Blazer tank will fit under any 73-87 pickup truck with the mods decribed in my write-up.

Thumbs up Re: Little Brothers 74 Build Up!

That truck looks great so far. Its also very kind of you to build that for your brother. Ive looked all over the internet for ways of putting bags in the front of my 2wd Jimmy but have not been successful. Im curious as to what you used for your whole setup. How much can you lower and raise it?
