Porterbuilt arms

Went to install with out shims and the upper cross bar is hitting the high spot on the factory front cross member. Looking at each side I need around 1/2" of shims to clear the member and I am also trimming the edges of the member so the arms don't rub it. Kind of needing advise on this.

Re: Porterbuilt arms

Are you sure it won't clear once you put the shims back in?

You should have plenty of room once she is aligned. Tons of these arms out there and haven't had this be a concern yet.

Feel free to get in touch with any questions.
