coil springs on 71 4wd blazer

just wondering if any one has put a jeep tj type coil spring suspension on their 67-72 4wd? i was brain storming suspension types and cost to build them and i figure i could build the tj style setup for the same or little less money than buying a 4" leaf spring kit from either tuff country or ord. balistic fab has all the brackets etc to do it.
any thoughts or input?

Re: coil springs on 71 4wd blazer

wwwj- never even gave the that a thought. but yeah along that design is what i was thinking. just the jeep tj was what came to mind.

mcm- stock steering wasnt even a thought. its just plain bad. will have to be a cross over type.

Andrew- thanks for link. food for thought there.
